Steel City Services (operating as ISM Industrial, "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

This policy applies to information collected through the contact form on our website and to cookies used for advertising measurement. We do not operate user accounts or sell personal data.

We collect two categories of information:

Information you provide directly — when you submit our contact form:

• Full Name — to address you personally in our response
• Email Address (optional) — to send our reply and any quote information
• Phone Number — to follow up by phone if needed
• Service Type — whether you are inquiring about Power Washing or Dumpster Rentals, to route your request to the right team
• Your Message — the details of your project or inquiry

Information stored in your browser — if you interact with our cookie consent banner:

• Cookie consent preference — we store your Accept or Reject choice in your browser's localStorage under the key sc_cookie_consent. This value never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.

We do not collect payment information, government identification, health data, or any personal information beyond what is listed above.

We collect personal information in two ways:

• Contact form submissions — only when you voluntarily complete and submit the form on our website.
• Cookie consent preference — stored locally in your browser (localStorage) when you respond to our cookie banner. This preference controls whether our advertising pixel runs on your device.

If you accept cookies, we use Meta Pixel — a third-party tracking tool operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. — to measure the performance of our advertising. The pixel collects anonymised event data (such as page views and form interactions) and sends it to Meta. No pixel data is collected if you reject cookies.

We use the information you provide solely for the following purposes:

• To respond to your service inquiry or question
• To prepare and deliver a quote for the service you selected
• To follow up by phone or email regarding your project
• To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (only if you have accepted cookies)

We will never use your information for unsolicited marketing or promotional campaigns.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

Your information is shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• Email Delivery (Resend): When you submit the contact form, your submission is transmitted to our inbox via Resend, a third-party transactional email service. Resend processes your data solely to deliver your message to us and does not use your information for its own purposes.
• Advertising Measurement (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — consent required: If you accept cookies, anonymised event data (page views, form interactions) is sent to Meta via Meta Pixel to help us understand how our ads perform. This data is subject to Meta's own Privacy Policy. No data is sent to Meta if you reject cookies.

We may also disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request from a government authority.

We retain your contact form submission for as long as is necessary to respond to and fulfill your service inquiry — typically no longer than 12 months from the date of submission.

If you become an active customer, email correspondence related to your project may be retained as part of our business records for a longer period, as required by standard business operations.

Your cookie consent preference is stored only in your own browser's localStorage. It is not held on our servers and is automatically removed if you clear your browser data.

Our website uses one category of cookie-like technology for advertising measurement:

• Meta Pixel (advertising measurement): We use Meta Pixel, operated by Meta Platforms, Inc., to track whether visitors who see our ads go on to visit our website or submit a contact form. The pixel collects anonymised event data — such as page views and form interactions — and sends it to Meta to help us evaluate our advertising performance. Meta may use this data in accordance with their own privacy policy.

Consent required: Meta Pixel only loads and runs after you explicitly accept cookies via our consent banner. If you reject cookies, no pixel code is executed and no data is sent to Meta.

Changing your preference: You can review and change your cookie preference at any time using the widget below. Changes take effect immediately in your current browser session.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Your contact form submission is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to your information is limited to Steel City Services team members who need it to respond to your inquiry.

Please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:
